Limited-access to Harvard
Good afternoon!
Hope all is well! Hope you had a nice week!
This last P-Day was pretty neat.
We made our way to the famous Harvard University. So, all five of us (my trio and the Japanese Elders) went towards the center of campus to check it all out. Coincidentally, we ran into the bishop of the YSA ward in Cambridge. He showed us around, giving us a nice little private tour. He then led us to the science research building. Because the bishop is a genius, he got us limited-access into the 8th floor all the way up to the observatory. Guess you could say we're pretty cool.
In total this week, we had a total of 5-6 hours of Facebook finding...lets just say it's been pretty grueling.
We spoke with Manuel this last week. He's doing well, but sadly we had to take his kids off of baptismal date. There has been some difficulty within the family, so we've been having to hold off. We decided to make them some cookies instead. Pleas pray for them!!
Today our fellow Japanese Elders moved to a different area and swapped with the other Spanish elders that belong to our district. Lots of changing around and lots of different personalities.
This last week I studied something pretty cool. In Mormon chapter 8, verse 20, we read the Lord says "Vengeance and justice are mine".
I really like these verses for a few reasons. We know that this world has a lot of unlawfullness and injustices. We learn of this opposition in 2 Nephi 2 that it's necessary for the Plan of God to function. Often times, we can get really caught up after getting offended by what someone has said or done to us.
We need to understand that in the end, God will make everything right. Every wrong, injustice, or unfair thing. The thing we need to do, is just TRUST Him!
Love you all so much! Hope you can keep climbing on!
