District Pday
Hey guys, Hope you all had a nice week. I heard that the smoke has cleared up somewhat, I bet that's nice to be able to breath some fresh air. Anyway, things are starting to roll forward here in Hartford. We've been able to get our english class moving along with constant contact with our friends. Noemi- she's met with missionaries for a few months now. We reviewed her understanding of the Restoration and she believes all of it. Afterwards, we discussed the next step which is to prepare for baptism. She also agrees and wants to set a date. She even asked what happens after that and we got to explain the temple a little bit. Claudia- she was orignially studying the bible with us. As we were studying the Doctrine of Jesus Christ, we felt inspired to share a verse from the Book of Mormon. She loved it! The quarantine countdown begins
Good day dear friends and family, The word of the day is: la suerte (luck) I'll start with the bad news then get to good news. We have been put on a temporary social distance until March 30th. This means no leaving the apartment unless we need to get food or take a short break from online proselyting. Good news is that before this leave of absence, we were able to set a Baptismal date for our friend Huber. We had been talking about the plan of Salvation and it just clicked for him. It's going to be a little complicated with not being able to go to church, but we are super excited. Another thing, my companion has to go home because he has a compromised immune system. So there's a lot of uncertainty here. There is something I am sure of is that there is a prophet of God on the earth TODAY! I KNOW that His gospel has been restored to the earth today.
