Our life "porpoise"
Oy todo bem, bon día,
Portuguese (creole) word of the day:
Basofu (a good looking guy)
Trying to mix things up here. That's one thing we need as humans; variety.

A funny addition I forgot in my previous email (to explain the title). Here's how the story goes:
My comp and I are chatting with at least 20 people on Facebook at once. There was this guy that we started to have a really good and deep conversation about theology. We began talking about what the purpose is on this earth. Now, a side note, he was speaking English but obviously knew Spanish (bless his heart). Every time he meant to say "purpose" it was written as "porpoise". I could help but think of the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. "Don't vurry, the porpoise vil protect you!"
That was a good laugh. Had a surprise of about 3 inches of snow on Saturday morning. Never thought I'd have to ever see it again but New England will keep you on your toes like that.
Lately, I've been thinking about how I can be a more charitable person. It's a bit of a paradox at the moment because we can't even leave the apartment. But, I've started to realize that I'm overthinking things too much.
It all made sense after a lesson with a member who lives alone. He said to us that it was the FIRST time ANYONE had reached out to him since the quarantine. I was heart-broken but also glad we could help him in that moment.
My dear friends and family, if there is one thing I invite you to do today is this:
Thoughtfully make a list of persons that may need ministering and message/call/video them.
We as a human family have the means of being so connected, yet it we often feel so alone and disconnected.
Please please please reach out to someone today, it will lift both your spirits and those around you! I promise that!!!
