¿Que lo queeee familia y amigos?

This week I had to send home my companion. It was really weird having to go to the airport and watch 23 missionaries head home. 

I am currently with the Portuguese Elders down the road. I head back to my apartment this Wednesday to get a new companion. I've had to be working my area by myself. This means lessons over the phone with me, myself, and I...and the Holy Ghost of coarse. It has made me realize how much I really need my companion. 

We currently have one person on date for baptism and began teaching two new people this past week. Not too shabby for the current situation. If you could all include Huber, Jovanni, and Yordi, in your prayers, that would be super awesome. They are having a lot of challenges working against them as they are progessing in His gospel. 

Had an interesting conversation with a member about the current world situation. 

We were talking about all the things that will happen before the second coming. I kind of had a profound thought. 

1 Nephi 2:11 "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things" 

If there is opposition in all things, then that means that there is a side of good and a side of evil. They are constantly widening further way from one another. As there are continually more bad things in the world, there will only be more good to counteract it. 

We have a choice to choose one or the other. As we read on it says... 

2 Nephi 2:27 "... And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself." 

My dear Friends and family. There will come a day where you have to choose one or the other. That decision is best made earlier than later. 

I testify that there is peace when you choose the great Mediator of Man. There is rest, hope, and joy. I testify that he lives. Even with all the bad things happening, this is just even more evidence that He lives.
