Bautismo and singing solo

Hola mis amigos y familia,

The word of the day is: friolento (sensitive to the cold)

Like always, this week flew by.
We had our branch Christmas party and Ever's baptism. I volunteered adimently to sing a solo a capella at the party. For sure out of my comfort zone. After I was getti g kind down on myself because I messed up. A little while after, I realized that, all that mattered to everyone was that I sang. They didn't know I messed up.

This weekend sure was filled with involvement. My companions and I spoke in church, and after we all participated in the baptism in some way or another. For me it was sing another solo a capella AND lead all the music. It was definitely a learning experience. It was super awesome!

As for the baptism, Ever gave his testimony after and it was so powerful for a 13 year old. He is so intelligent and faithful. He learned so incredibly fast. While he spoke I began to think of the people he would influence, and then the people they would influence. It's incredible what the gospel does.

I love this gospel and I love my Savior. I have witnessed first hand the power of His Atonement work in the lives of God's children.

Hasta próximo vez...

con mucho amor,
Elder Rasmussen
