Finalmente, estoy en el campo en Lynn

Buenas tardes mi familia y amigos,

This week was a blur! One minute I'm on a train to the Salt Lake City airport then I'm landing in Boston. Upon arriving, it was love at first sight. I love the city, its culture, and most importantly the people. I got to meet President and Sister Mavromatis and I can say I'm in good hands. They have this whole thing figured out.
I have been assigned to the Lynn area AND
I have the opportunity to be in a trio with Elder Gonzalez and Elder Gardner. I was shocked with being in a trio. Let's just say it takes some getting used to.

The first night we went to a dinner appointment with Lizette, a friend of the Church. She's super nice but when it comes to talking, she doesn't let us talk. She could go on for hours......hours. She is really interested in the church but it's hard to teach her. We'll have to figure something out soon.

Another person we are teaching tonight is joven (young person) who is SUPER smart. He's been taught all the lessons and believes it to be true. The only thing is he struggles with committing to getting baptized. He said that he wants to wait until he's older like others here in the branch. If anyone has anything we can help him with, please let us know. We are kind of at a check-mate situation.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I was reading in the first few chapters of Mosiah. This is where King Benjamin is explaining to his people that we are and have been eternally indebted to our Father in Heaven since the beginning. It says:

23 And now, in the first place, he hath created you, and granted unto you your lives, for which ye are indebted unto him.

It's clear we should be grateful. It says earlier:

19...O how you ought to thank your heavenly King!

This us pretty transparent on what we should be grateful for. Now with the Christmas season around the corner, we can show our love for our Savior and Heavenly Father by showing our love for others. I encourage you to sign up for the #lighttheworld text reminder. Just go to comeuntochrist.org

Because the new video The Christ Child gets released tomorrow, when you have time, watch with those you love. As you watch it, think about the feelings that you feel. Remember those feelings. There are some people that dont feel those feelings of glad tidings. I want you to find a time before Christmas to make sure someone else feels that happiness. Get creative. Use your talents. Do something to testify of Christ. We can all be missionaries.  We can all help others have the hope that they need one light at a time.

I love you all so much!! Have a wonderful week!
