Angels with name tags

Angeles con nombre tags Dear Family and Friends, What an amazing week it has been. Being able to share the gospel in another language is truly a privilege. It is such a beautiful process. Similar to how a refiners fire functions, you are gradually cleansed, hardened, and shaped into what the Lord wants you to be. He wants you to go through these hard experiences because of the immense amount of love he has for you. You might be feeling pressure and pain right now, but just know that it is to shape you into what he wants you to be. He knows what you need.      I want to talk about a really tender moment that I had last Saturday. At the end of our P-day, we had language class. We had a substitute and his name was Brother Jenkins. This guy was seriously so cool. I have never learned more in one class than with this guy. Towards the end of class, he said we were going to read the Book of Mormon in spanish. My whole district including myself were worried an...

There is Strength and Peace in Jesus Christ

Se que hay fuerza y paz en Jesucristo Hola mi familia y amigos,  I can't believe how fast this week has gone by. And I can't believe how fast my P-day is drawing to an end.  I want to talk about the title of this email. It says: I know that there is strength and peace in Jesus Christ.  First things first. As a result of this, I was being kind of hard on myself and asking myself why I couldn't learn as fast as those around me. So, on the walk up to the third floor, I was questioning to God what I should do in this situation. As we approached the third floor lobby, Hermana Eddy brought to our attention this massive floor to ceiling, wall to wall mural of Moses pa...

¡holaaaaa primero la semana esta bien! Hola ustedes, Elder Annas y yo This week has been so awesome! I've been able to feel the La Espiritu so much!  There are 8 elders in my district.  Because we have such a small district, we basically can go everywhere together. After four days I already love all these elders. Two are from San Diego, one from St. George, orem, American fork, Texas, and Arizona. My compañero is from American Fork and his name is Elder Annas. He is really smart. He also has some social challenges so my patience has definitely grown a ton.  So far with language class we have been doing pretty good. We can all pray in spanish, recite scriptures from memory, and carry a basic conversation. My compañero never learned spanish before so I've been able to see him improve and its AMAZING how the Gift of Tongues works.  An awesome miracle happened THE SECOND day we were here. On the first day,  Elder Lloyd had gotten a test for MONO ...
