No me puedo quejar
Hello hello,
I hope you all are staying well, dodging and weaving the punches that life throws at you.
This last week we had some nice weather. To take advantage, we used our exercise time to go play soccer at the local courts. When we got there, a lot of the Hispanics and Brazilians had the same idea. Now, remember, the last time I played soccer was back in the MTC, so you can imagine I was a little out of shape. Though being winded, and schooled by all the hispanos, it was a ton of fun! They loved how we could speak their language pick up on their jokes.
I recently found a book at the church as we were rummaging through a bunch of old material in the library. It's called "The Master's Touch". It was a small blessing in disguise. In my studies the other day, I was reading how Alma and Amulek healed Zeezrom from being bed ridden to immediately jumping to his feet. I pondered on that, and asked myself "why don't we see miracles this big in our day?". Well little wonder, this book I found is full of modern day first hand experiences of miracles and healings.
This was a catalyst for the training I gave in our district council on Saturday. Do you have the faith sufficient to be healed? We read of almost 30 times in the standard works the phrase "according to thy faith" or "because of thy faith". I hope that most of us aren't on our death beds, but what about the small infirmities and spiritual-sicknesses we have? Do you have the faith to let Christ heal you of those things? Maybe it's time to ask for a priesthood blessing to put in practice your faith.
That's a little food for thought today. I hope that you are doing well, and I know I say that a lot, but I really do mean that. I am praying for you and your family. May God bless you in all your decisions.
